PENERAPAN TEKNIK SKIMMING YANG DIBERIKAN DI AWAL PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA PADA SISWA SMP SUB POKOK BAHASAN MATA DAN CACAT MATA

ABSTRACT

Physics is one of science having close relation to daily life. Skimming is an efficient reading technique to find general view of thereading material. This research aimed to know(1) influence and (2) the value of the influence of skimming technique given in thebeginning of physics lesson of eyes and eye deffect sub topic to learning achievement of the student and (3) students' commentafter the lesson. In this research control and experiment groups were used. Based on the analysis result of the t-test data of learningachievement, it was concluded that the application of skimming technique given in the beginning of physics lesson of eyes and eyedeffect sub topic gave effect to learning achievement of the student with the value of 1.49%. The result of comment questionaireshowed that the student understand the learning material easier after having the lesson.
